Administration of the Organization:

  • Telephone reception
  • Intake of New Clients and client assistance
  • Public and Privacy Information
  • Data Entry-maintenance of multiple data bases
  • Office Administration
  • Filing System Maintenance
  • Equipment Inventory Maintenance
  • Liaise with Network System Administrator and network installers as required
  • Processing, scheduling and follow-up of service requests
  • Send and receive parcels
  • Website management

Organizational Management includes:

  • Writing, reviewing, and monitoring contracts on behalf of the Society
  • Ensure compliance with Employment standards Act, WCB, Workplace Safety and other regulations that apply
  • Adherence to policies and procedures ratified by the Society and implementation of policies and procedures as required.
  • Maintenance of relationships with clients, government agencies and communities.

Financial Management:

  • Bookkeeping –

o Accounts Receivable, including billing

o Receivable, record and deposit payments

o Bank Deposits

o Reconciliations

o Accounts payable

o Liaise with Society Board

o Reports as required

o Maintain records

o Payroll

o Sales tax reporting

  • Preparation of the annual budget
  • Administration of the annual budget

Liaise and work with Board of Directors including:

  • Report society activities, preparing reports, and supplying information to the Society Board
  • Attendance of Society meetings, take and transcribe minutes of Society, maintain records
  • Preparation of Society meeting packages, scheduling, and attendance confirmations.

Other:

  • Must possess a valid BC drivers licence and have access to a vehicle for parcel pick up/delivery
  • Ability to learn and carry out jobs specific to Internet installations and cabling.
