Ocean View Burial Park is looking to hire a professional, well organized and computer savvy Administrative Assistant/Clerk on a full-time basis to cover a one year maternity leave.

The right candidate will be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative tasks and must be able to multi-task.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience;
  • Proficiency in MS Office environment, including MS Word and MS Excel;
  • Professional telephone mannerism and commitment to excellence in customer service;
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize workload;
  • Strong initiative and ability to work well under limited supervision;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment;
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and meet deadlines and;
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to work with grieving families.

Job Type: Contract

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • reception: 1 year
  • administrative: 2 years
