Under the general supervision of the Team Leader of the Mental Health and Addictions team, this position provides clerical and reception duties for the team in Quesnel. These duties include typing, filing, photo copying, scheduling clients and data entry of all client information. This position provides information to clients, public and community agencies and records hours of work and approved leaves for payroll purposes.

Qualifications

– Grade 12, plus one (1) year experience related general office work or equivalent education and experience.
– Ability of use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and email
– Experience with office equipment such as photocopier, fax machine, calculator, Dictaphone

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
– Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
– Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
– Ability to relate to the public and clients and co-workers.
– Must have ability to organize workload.
– Must have the physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
– Minimum of 60 wpm typing.
– Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
