We are currently seeking an Architectural Designer to join our team in our downtown Toronto office.

Duties:
Assist in the development of architectural designs. Assist in the design of significant components of the overall building, as required

Assist in preparation of and/or alterations of drawings, schedules, and 3D models

Assist Project Architect to obtain necessary information or required research for RFI’s

Perform fundamental design activities including laying out programme components, researching building components, and assembling schematic design presentation packages

Liaise with engineering disciplines to exchange and coordinate information to ensure elements of design, modelling, and detailing adhere to relevant jurisdictional codes

Perform site surveys and field reviews. Evaluate site conditions and prepare reports for review by senior personnel

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate:
Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills

Demonstrate computer skills to produce effective spreadsheets, reports, documents, and presentations. Must be proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and MS Office Applications

Post-secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor of Architecture is required

Has between 4-9 years of architectural design experience

or proceed with Standard Application Form.
