New Leaf Yoga Foundation is a charitable organization making yoga and mindfulness practices accessible to youth in some of the least-serviced environments in Canada.
We’re currently seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the financial well-being, development and efficiency of our growing organization.

Responsibilities
Financial Management
Fundraising management including development of funding strategies, grant-writing, sponsorship, donor stewardship and financial reporting
Events management including committee oversight, conceptualization and related financial planning
Annual budget, audit and annual report management
Organizational Development
Vital role in strategic planning for all areas of operations including programming, fundraising, staffing and infrastructure
Development of policies and procedures including insurance, contracts, and operational systems to improve efficiency and output
Human Resources
Assistance in the development of HR policies and implementation
Supervision of committees and volunteer teams
Assessment and development of current and new job positions aligned with organizational growth & strategic goals
The Operations Manager will report to our Executive Director.
Requirements
Experience fundraising, financial oversight and budget development
Prior successful grant-writing experience & events management
Experience in a management or leadership position
Excellent computer skills including with Word, Excel, GoogleDocs + Spreadsheets, QuickBooks, Skype
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including public speaking
Capacity and willingness to travel within Toronto and the GTA for meetings and events as needed
A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records check (in case of contact with youth)

Working Conditions
20-25 hours per week to start.
Salaried position.
Our work environment involves shared office time at New Leaf’s head office in Toronto, Ontario, combined with some remote hours after a probationary period (some conditions apply) during regular Monday-Friday business hours. Candidates must have the ability to work some non-standard (evening and weekend hours) on an as-needed basis.
