Are you an enthusiastic, adaptable educator and natural communicator, who can spark an interest and engage others in learning about Alberta’s environment and natural resources? If so, we want you to join our team to help deliver our education programs!
Inside Education helps students and teachers understand the science, technology and issues related to our environment and natural resources. Our programs consider multiple perspectives and encourage critical thinking and responsible stewardship. We are proud to be recognized this year by the North American Association for Environmental Education, with an award for outstanding service to environmental education.
We have a spring, seasonal opportunity for an adaptable outdoor educator, based in either Edmonton or Grande Prairie , to help deliver natural resource education programs to students at various outdoor field sites in central and northern Alberta. Your primary assignment will be approximately 5 weeks of programming at the Evergreen Centre for Resource Excellence and Innovation in Grande Prairie (accommodations provided). This is a great opportunity to build your teaching and group management skills, while enjoying each day in the outdoor classroom! Want to see what you’ll be doing? Check out our Twitter feed @insideeducation or our Facebook photo album for fun from the field!
