NOV Solids Control is seeking 4 TEMPORARY Field Service Technicians to assist with the maintenance and repair of our centrifuge and shaker equipment in the oilfield.

A Field Service Technician is required to travel to well site locations and is responsible for rigging up, servicing, trouble-shooting, and tear down of specialized equipment related to assisting operations. Travel can be regional for extended periods of time and is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and is physically demanding.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain, service, and set up equipment on site as required
2. Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues as they arise
3. May be required to deliver hotshot requests and install equipment on site
4. Keep open communication with engineers, rig personnel, and supervisors
5. Maintain strong business relationship with all clients and stakeholders
6. Responding to customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner
7. Diagnose problems and advise operators on how to properly maintain equipment
8. Maintain records of services performed
9. Adherence to all NOV policies and procedures (vehicle, safety, correspondence, housekeeping)
10. Represent NOV in a professional manner at all times
11. Upon supervisor request, you will be required to work in the shop occasionally
12. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to one year oilfield experience preferred
• Experience with centrifuges and shakers is considered an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
