MR. X is composed of a unique and gifted team of artists, filmmakers and programmers devoted to the art, craft and technology of visual storytelling. Our talented staff, committed to quality above all else, has achieved some of the most original and photo-realistic visual effects and animation seen on film to date. We’re looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Operations Coordinator and Client Services.

Operations/Admin duties:

  • Responsible for travel bookings/itinerary preparation for on set crew, award shows, and inter-company travel.
  • Liaise with external vendors (e.g. building management, caterers, etc.)
  • Event planning for wrap parties, movie days and holiday parties, quiz nights, etc.
  • Assist the Finance department by maintaining and reconciling petty cash, submitting relocation expenses, etc.
  • Be a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (e.g. contact building management to inform them of outstanding building issues, attend safety meetings, take meeting minutes, safety walkthroughs, etc.)
  • Manage current key fob/security system
  • Assist Operations Manager with ad-hoc requests, such as inventory management, relocation of artists, license management, purchasing, etc.

Client care duties:

  • Provide reception coverage for breaks and lunches. In the event the Receptionist is absent this position will act as the back-up
  • Reception coverage includes receiving and directing incoming phone calls, accepting and sending courier packages, ordering office supplies,
  • Welcome clients and other visitors with an amiable disposition
  • Organize beverages/craft service for clients and Mr. X crew as required
  • Organize and manage Mr. X swag inventory and prepare gift bags for clients
  • Other duties as requested by the Global Managing Director
  • Maintain kitchen supplies and general cleanliness


  • 2+ years previous office experience required
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Professional and friendly phone manner
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast paced creative team environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel
