Motor Coach Industries (MCI), an industry leader in Charter and Luxury Touring Coaches, is seeking a ICFR Documentation Specialist (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) to join our team for a 12 month term position. As the market leader, MCI designs, manufactures and markets coaches for tour, line haul, transit and conversion uses. MCI is committed to providing our customers with high-quality products along with aftermarket services throughout the U.S. and Canada. POSITION GOAL/SUMMARY The ICFR Documentation Specialist, reporting to the ICFR Analyst and a member of the MCI Finance Team, will be responsible for providing documentation support to ensure success implementing of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting at all Business Units and entity locations. This individual will require excellent communication skills and ability to assist operation business units to develop and document policies and controls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support the implement ICFR at MCI and the ICFR Analyst
  • Assist finance and business units with documenting current process flows, and documenting risk and control matrixes for key processes
  • Assist with ongoing improvement of MCI’s ICFR program by refreshing Risk and Control Matrixes and by working with process owners
  • Provide additional support in various ad-hoc finance projects DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Post-secondary education in finance, accounting or auditing and/or equivalent experience
  • Ability to create process flows and documentation expertise is required
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and related principles
  • Knowledge of COSO 2013 an asset
  • Auditing experience including liaison with external auditors would be an asset
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast paced team oriented environment
