We are an industrial enterprise specializing in the manufacture of conventional microscopes. The company has over 3000 employees with offices in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Our North American sales and logistics office located in Richmond, BC is looking to fill a position in the Technical and Customer Support department. In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Monitor support phone and emails within an assigned targeted answer rate
• Remote support and resolution of inquiries involving hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and usage of the equipment
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for microscope issues, mechanical and electrical
• Complete QC of both digital and optical instruments and make adjustments/repair as necessary
• Provide basic customer sales support and initiate return authorizations

Requirements:

• Strong computer and technical background
• Hands-on experience working with mechanical and electrical components
• Solid English written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service oriented mindset
• Enjoy technical troubleshooting and problem solving in a fast paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a friendly and professional manner
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft products especially Microsoft Office, knowledge of Mac is a plus
• Must be able to work independently and in a team
