POSITION SUMMARY: Compensation & Systems Analyst, Morgan Canada

The Compensation and Systems Analyst, Morgan Canada will be the expert for all compensation, benefits,

hiring, workforce planning,

reporting/analytics,

and HR technology related matters.

This person will work closely with Morgan US HR team and will strengthen Morgan Canada’s HR Systems and improve the accuracy of Morgan Canada team member digital record keeping, maintenance and also ensure accurate reporting.

Success in the role requires attention to detail, the ability to think analytically, conduct research, drive process engineering and improvement in a digital environment, and deliver business intelligence through data visualization that leaders can utilize to improve business performance.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
System and Process Engineering

:

Review, test, implement and administer the following HR Systems for Morgan Canada as the super-user. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application maintenance and support.

Ceridian Dayforce Human Capital Management System (Dayforce HCM)

Dovetail Employee Advanced Case Management System (Dovetail CMS)

Enterprise Product Data Management(EPDM)

Learning Management System (LMS)

Digital Workflow System

Applicant Tracking System

Data 3 ERP

Refine and deliver Morgan Canada HR Systems strategy to automate processes and improve efficiency of full HR life cycle processes

Develop standard reports using Ceridian Dayforce, Data 3 and Cognos for ongoing customer requirements

Write, maintain and support variety of queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools and effective use of Dashboards

Provide support in resolving issues in HR information systems, suggest improvements and collaborate with Ceridian technical team to ensure proper systems integration

Stay abreast of software revisions, program modules and current trends in HR Technology and provide direction to HR team on applying key technologies

Develop and deliver training to Morgan Canada system users, and troubleshoot issues including but not limited to user access, use of the system and adoption of advanced features

Develop and maintain Human Resources Information System procedures, guidelines and documentation for Morgan Canada

Develop and maintain systems security and workflow changes

Compensation Administration:
Conduct benchmark studies on Morgan Canada business specific operations annually and as needed to ensure competitiveness in labor market

Conduct and monitor Performance Management Process for Morgan Canada inclusive of:

Ongoing and annual performance appraisals

Performance Improvement Plans

Work closely with payroll team to ensure compliance and proper controls over off-cycle wage revisions

Effectively manage and ensure return on investment of company variable pay programs:

Hourly gain sharing

Non-sales bonus program

Project / Process Improvement

:

Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by leadership prior to implementation

Enable consultative support to the HR Business Partner at Morgan Canada through automation, self-service, and delivery of actionable business intelligence

Workforce Planning & Analysis:
Lead Workforce Planning efforts for Morgan Canada in conjunction with manufacturing, sales, training, and recruiting teams

Lead HR metrics and reporting function and deliver critical business insights

Develop weekly and monthly HCM reports using Dayforce HCM, Data 3, Dovetail CMS and LMS

Work with Morgan’s North American Shared Services and recruiting teams to develop metrics, reports, and status updates

Prepare analytics/metrics to be used by senior management in decision making, and power continuous organizational performance improvement with strong analytics

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s in Business Administration

Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources function in manufacturing

Minimum 5 years of experience in using HCM Applications

Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and administering Learning Management System

Minimum 1 year of Systems Administration experience as a super-user in HCM Applications

Demonstrated experience in using Dayforce HCM including:
Handling and administering base pay and bonus programs including annual wage reviews, creating compensation policies, grade structure and analyzing its financial impact on payroll and compensation & benefits

Conduct compensation surveys; perform market match validation, analyze and summarize results to maintain market competitiveness

Working on continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams including but not limited to the areas of employee attrition, employee engagement, satisfaction and productivity

Demonstrated experience in using Dovetail CMS & Applicant Tracking System

Demonstrated experience in creating and working on Digital Workflows

Demonstrated experience in working with HireSelect Assessment tool

Demonstrated experience in using Cognos reporting systems

Certified in Lean Six Sigma

Strong understanding of HR processes, reporting and creating queries in SQL

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Publisher and Tableau

Demonstrated Experience in using Data 3

Strong interpersonal skills & team player

Strong time and priorities management skills

Project Management & Change Management skills

Reports to:
Vice President, Human Resources

Applicant must have legal authorization to work in Canada

SALARY:
$100,000 Canadian per year or $48.07 Canadian per hour based on a 40-Hour work week.
