Mogo is looking for a licensed Mortgage Specialist with the drive and determination to aid in our newest product’s success! As an addition to our Mortgage team, you will work within our Care Centre based in Winnipeg to educate our customers about our new Mortgage product. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about an old product being transformed and redesigned into a new, more flexible option for the benefit of our MogoMembers. What you’ll do:
Assist MogoMembers in determining their best options for their specific needs while facilitating the process of attaining a MogoMortgage.
Liaise with clients for necessary information, analysis, and negotiations associated with their mortgages
Review loan documents to ensure compliance and accuracy with loan details
Interpret and translate products, concepts, and the legalities of a mortgage application to customers using simple and easy-to-understand language
Measure and report on funded volumes and funded ratios
Ensure compliance with banking and/or finance laws in the respective jurisdiction of each customer
Challenge the MogoMortgage product with a critical eye, examining best practice standards and applying them to processes and strategies at Mogo
Be involved in the creation and launch of a brand new product!
What you’ll need:
You hold a Mortgage Salesperson License in Manitoba and you have 2+ years of related experience
Experience working in both a sales and/or call centre environment is considered a bonus
Knowledge of personal lending, relationship sales and management
Experience using Filogix Expert and Morweb is an asset
Ability to communicate financial concepts simply to our customers with the passion to go above and beyond to make each customer interaction an amazing one
Experience working in a high volume and dynamic environment
Proficiency using Microsoft Office systems such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
