Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Business Analyst

JP19795 – Business Analyst (56354803)

Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a project within the Currency space and upgrading/migrating to a new system
  • Writing user stores, using Waterfall methodology, completing gap analysis, process flows, etc.
  • Truly bridging gap between Business and IT, role should have understanding of technology but not the focus of the role
  • Reporting to the Manager of Brokerage Platforms within the Client Servicing and Product Platform pillar

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • 5-7+ years of Business Analyst experience (within Financial Services)
  • Experience in decommissioning legacy applications (understanding how a system is used currently and if that system is being decommissioned, how will the clients perform their work without the system)
  • Experience with conversion of data and reporting
  • Experience with Workflow and Business rules
  • Waterfall or Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication skills
