Retail Store Clerk for Modern Furniture Store

modGSI is a click-to-brick modern and contemporary furniture retailer based in Vancouver, BC. We’re currently looking for a sales and admin clerk for our Burnaby location, who is enthusiastic, organized, and pays attention to details. Please note that training will take place in our Richmond office. This is a part-time leading to full-time position.

Our brick-and-mortar store is located at 12680 Bridgeport Road, Richmond, BC, right at the corner of Bridgeport and Sweden Way, close by HWY 91 and 99, bringing you great convenience with easy access to public transportation (bus #407, 430, transfer to the Canada Line), popular food and restaurants (Starbucks, McDonald’s, Subway, etc).

Wage
Starts at $12 per hour

Job Description
As a sales-admin clerk you will be responsible for demonstrating and selling products to customers, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office/store and maintaining the company’s website. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. You will communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administration tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

  • Greeting and serving customers
  • Data entry
  • Maintain and optimize website
  • Maintain social media platforms
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Monitor and respond to email and live chat
