We are currently recruiting for the position of Laboratory Assistant, to work from our Mississauga Sales and Service Office.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and conduct various routine tests for water samples, analyses and chemical experiments, not limited to pH, conductivity, hardness, alkalinity, sulfites, chlorides, silica
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in good working order; perform daily calibration checks for all the laboratory instruments.
  • Adhere to strict safety and health guideline checks
  • Follow and perform all Quality and Safety programs

Requirements

  • 1 year experience in Chemical Analysis in a circuit board manufacturing industry
  • Completion of college, vocational or technical training
  • Familiar with calibration methodologies for laboratory equipment.
  • Knowledge of titration, spectroscopy, GMPs and HACCP
  • Understand and comply with Safe practices, including but not limited to Laboratory Safety & Chemical Handling
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Good sense of organizational and time management skills
  • Capable of working both in a team environment and unsupervised
  • Must be able to handle and transport various hazardous chemicals
  • Must be able to work in an environment with strong odors
