We work on some of the most exciting initiatives with global technology leaders in Consumer Electronics and Automotive.


As part of the back-end team, you will work mainly on camera integration, pipeline optimization, internal tool development, and SDK/API interfacing. You will: (i) participate in the software design and development of the current and future Mirametrix product lines, (ii) apply the software development process across the development activities to support the application and research teams, and (iii) support the backend API and SDKs of the current product line as well as the customer issues backend.


  • Design of brand new applications;
  • Optimize code;
  • Maintenance of existing code base;
  • Update SDK and API interfaces to support multiple internal and external clients;
  • Contribute to define the performance acceptance criteria;
  • Design and develop tools that make a direct impact on the productivity and workflow of other teams;
  • Execute test cases for functional and regression tests;
  • Take an active role in assisting developers with issue diagnosis and providing design feedback;
  • Port existing code base to specific embedded platforms;
  • Break down complex technical concepts to non-technical people;
  • Support team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in C++ 11, Python and other scripting language;
  • Strong code optimization skills;
  • Strong object-oriented design skills and Design Patterns
  • Ability to learn and comprehend complex systems and innovative technology.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to think beyond requirements with a mind-set towards delivering quality product.
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a small, fast-paced, and dynamic company environment with a technical focus.
  • Ability to work in an Agile Scrum environment;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive self-starter capable of working independently and responsibly with sensitivity to confidential information.

Academic and Experience:

  • 2+ years in application software environments;
  • Experience in code optimization;
  • Experience with embedded platforms is an asset;
  • Experience with mass-market products is an asset.
