Apply your communication skills and experience to this opportunity with the Ministry of Transportation working in a very busy and high volume call centre environment, where you will provide support to the Road User Safety Division, Regional Operations Office.

What can I expect to do in this role? You will:
•provide scheduling and information services to the Driver Improvement Programs and client groups
•respond to inquiries regarding the Driver Improvement Programs from the public
•schedule and maintain an itinerary of the Driver Improvement Counsellor’s activities
•use various computer software applications to prepare administrative reports and respond to e–mail, mail, and fax inquiries

How do I qualify? Mandatory • you must be proficient in English and advanced level oral French

Technical Knowledge •you have knowledge of related Acts and Regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to suspensions, reinstatements, demerit point system
•you can assess and evaluate driver records
•you have knowledge of the Drivers and Vehicles program area to respond to complex inquires

Problem Solving, Organizational and Planning Skills •you can resolve scheduling conflicts and complaints from the public
•you can coordinate the scheduling of Driver Improvement activities

Communication and Interpersonal Skills •you can prepare memos, spreadsheets, presentation materials, and statistical reports
•you can provide telephone answering services
•you can respond to complex inquiries both orally and in writing

Computer Skills •you can use computer software to prepare correspondence, reports and memos
