This position is primarily responsible for organizing files, purging documents and providing administrative support within the GTA Regional offices .The successful candidate will be expected to understand and maintain a high standard of privacy and professionalism in dealing with sensitive client information. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide administrative and operational support to assist the Regional Offices in maintaining high standards of client service as needed.

This position will be primarily based out of our Toronto office at 1100-522 University Avenue. The hours of work will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday with very occasional overtime required as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Organizing client files, purging documents and sending relevant information clients

Eliminating outdated or unnecessary material

Clean and maintain file space

Arrange files according to established system

Working closely with all lines of business, Team Leads, Receptionists and other Team members within the Region

Provide back up support to other administrative staff as needed

Participate in special projects as requested
Specific administration tasks
Coordinate and execute on a variety of regional initiatives; including seminars, Client Forums and Professional Development Days, coordinate logistics as required.
Perform regular relief duties as needed, including answering the telephone (main backup for the receptionist), greeting clients and booking appointments.

Education & Experience:
High School Degree required.
Experience in an administrative or clerical position, preferably with a financial services company is a definite asset.

Technologically savvy with excellent computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

Competency Requirements:

Enjoys a fast pace environment and is highly professional.

Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Own transportation an asset
Travel may be required via public transportation between Regional Offices as required
