What will you do in this role?
As an experienced Client Assistant, your ability and desire to respond effectively to all client inquiries, in reference to account administration of MD Financial Management’s products and services, is something you take great pride in completing.
In close co-operation with the Financial Consultants and Portfolio Managers, a strong client focus and attention to detail will allow you to maintain a follow-up system for inquiries, complaints and problem resolution, thus ensuring MD Management client service standards are being met in a timely manner and your satisfaction of working towards a positive resolution is satisfied.
Effective multitasking skills will allow you great success in updating the database for all client contact, ensuring information is accurately recorded, processing daily activity documentation, completing file preparation and assisting with reception coverage of the office.
There will also be opportunities to complete client transactions through the Trade Centre.
What experience will allow you the greatest success in this role?
3+ years experience in an administrative or clerical position, preferably within a financial services environment;
Licensed as an Investment Representative through IIROC or be willing to become licensed within 12 months of hire, through the completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook for Securities Industry Professionals (CPH);
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite;
Working knowledge of RRSPs, RRIFs, RESPs, mutual funds and other investment products;
University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration is an asset;
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
