Summary of Position:
We are presently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our Research & Library Services Team for a twelve (12) month contract on a part-time basis (8 hours/week). The individual will be working with a national team and will report to the National Manager, Research & Library Services. The primary duties include the following:

Loose-leaf filing and making claims
Circulation duties including arranging books on shelves, assisting lawyers and clients with locating books and signing in and out books
Keeping the physical library in order in Toronto
Processing new material in coordination with the Library Technicians
Distribution of current awareness materials
Coordinating inter-library loans
Performing general clerical work and data entry, including entering invoice information in the Firm’s applications
Undertaking special projects and other duties as assigned with enthusiasm

Key Requirements:
Sound judgement, troubleshooting skills, & ability to work in a high pressure environment
Excellent oral and written skills with attention to detail
Ability to keep information organized and confidential
Customer service oriented and able to work effectively independently and in teams
Confident and tactful to comfortably deal with diverse personalities
Students currently enrolled in a Library Technician Program or Library Students Program are encouraged to apply
