QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR

As a QA COORDINATOR, your main responsibilities are:
Monitors Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices to ensure continual and effective implementation.
Educates and trains staff in the requirements of Maxxam’s Quality Management System.
Monitors the effective implementation of Maxxam’s Quality Assurance Program.
Ensures the Quality System Tools are available and used.
Encourages, identifies and participates in continual improvement.
Assists Internal Customers in addressing questions, concerns and stuck points with regards to quality practices.
Liaises and coordinates External QA requirements and process including: Accreditation requirements (including PTs) and Client Audits.
Adheres to Maxxam Code of Ethics Policy.
Supports and complies with all Maxxam policies, Quality System and Health & Safety program.
Participates, when requested in lab and Health & Safety meetings.
Participates, when requested in internal and external audits.
Keeps work area clean, neat and organized.
Maintains training records and relevant qualifications.
You are the ideal QA COORDINATOR if:
You possess a Science Technical Diploma or B.Sc. or equivalent.
You have 2-4 years laboratory experience, Internal Auditor training an asset.
You have a strong science background and experience in laboratory practices.
You have experience working in a GLP, GMP, GXP environment.
You are competent in reviewing analytical procedures and practices.
You are able to write reports and work instructions.
You have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
You are able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
You have a positive outlook with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You have good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills.
You are able to adapt to a changing environment.
You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
