Production Supervisor- Injection Moulding
MaxSys Atlantic is recruiting Production Supervisors for a busy client in the Dartmouth area. This is a contract position in which there will be full time hours with the opportunity of an ongoing position based on performance and attendance.

JOB TITLE: Production Supervisor- Injection Moulding

LOCATION: Dartmouth, NS

SALARY: $10.60 plus vacation pay
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor with Injection moulding machinery and auxiliary equipment experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of Injection Moulding machine processes and operation.
• Proven leadership ability in a fast pace working environment.
• Strong decision making skills that maintain focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Robot and End-of-Arm Tooling used in Injection Moulding.
Responsibilities
• Co-ordination of a team of production associates for safety, quality, productivity, cost, and associate development.
• Increase productivity of moulding machines through continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Assist in setting and achieving goals and objectives with strengthening teamwork and group cohesion.
• Maintain the highest level of quality while meeting requirements of the next customer. Complete administrative duties (i.e. Collection and tracking of volumes, run time, defects, efficiency).
• Co-ordinate production schedule to deliver parts to internal customers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and co-ordinate support from all supporting departments.
Steel toed safety boots are required for the position.
