The Opportunity

As a representative of the Mattamy Corporate Marketing department, the Architectural Coordinator assists in providing architectural services to the company while striving to provide The Best Homeowner Experience. This involves performing various tasks and working with different areas of the business such as Marketing, Divisional Architecture, Purchasing, Décor, and/or Construction across all divisions of the company. Also communicates with external parties such as the Architect and Ad Agency in order to create marketing collateral.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support departmental goals by assisting departmental team members as directed by the Corporate Architectural Manager
  • Format CAD drawings from Architect for brochure creation
  • Create and issue square footage charts for all new communities and phases
  • Coordinate renderings with external parties
  • Review and coordinate homeowner sign-off drawings
  • Review and coordinate brochures, sales displays and web assets

The Person

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Education and Experience

  • Architectural Technology Diploma from a Community College or equivalent
  • 3-5 years construction or architectural experience required with residential construction preferred

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and visually through use of architectural drawings
  • Working knowledge and skills with drawing application programs in particular, AutoCAD (version 2000+)
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Detail-orientated with ability to check documents/drawings for accuracy, communicate detailed changes and ensure corrections are made
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
