POSITION OVERVIEW

As a valuable leader within the Ticket Operations team, you will deliver and lead the charge for the entire team to deliver championship customer service to fans at the ticket office located at BMO Field, ACC and Ricoh Coliseum.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • “Think Like A Fan” to ensure not only your delivery of friendly and efficient ticket service, but also that of all the ticket agents working
  • Supervise to ensure that all ticket agents are able to perform ticket sales transactions using Ticketmaster Host/PCI and the Archtics operating systems as well as using Access Manager.
  • Opening and closing procedures to include accountability for all cash/credit card/debit sales transactions and reconciliation of float for all ticket agents
  • Managing the Will Call print and ticket replacements for both Ticketmaster Host and Arhctics sales
  • Provide and help all ticket agents to provide friendly and informed responses to inquiries regarding seating locations/ticket prices
  • Work closely with Security Services, Guest Services & other departments to assist fans with special needs/requests
  • Act as an ambassador to MLSE and our community; provide information to fans regarding tourist attractions, transportation system etc.
  • Represent Suite Services team in supervising ticket agents with event day additional ticketing requirements and reservations
  • Follow and help all ticket agents to follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Work and help all ticket agents to work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Adhere to and set the example for all ticket agents to follow MLSE’s Vision & Values
  • Other administrative or service functions as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be available to work days, evenings and holidays (Monday to Sunday)
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service/up sell and lead others in the same
  • Must have proficient leadership skills, be self-motivated, a team player and show an eagerness to develop a strong team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and communicate findings
  • Solid computer skills
  • Proficiency and experience in Ticketmaster Host and Archtics sales an asset
  • Familiarity with the City of Toronto and tourist attractions an asset
  • Work well under pressure; handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A winning attitude
