Overview

As part of the Ticket Operations team located at the Air Canada Centre, you will be responsible for the execution of events, sales/service and reporting on events as it relates to ticketing. Your leadership, passion and commitment to excellence will contribute to exceptional fan and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and create event/concert lay up as required by various clients
  • Liaise with Ticketmaster with regards to the structure and pricing of events
  • Work closely with all clients on special promotions, pre sales and on sale requirements
  • Providing event details and assisting with supervising part time staff
  • Contribute towards the training and coaching of part time sales agents, coaches and supervisors at Air Canada Centre, Ricoh Coliseum, and BMO Field
  • Assist in the supervision of the Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leaf and The Toronto Rock game-day operations and all other event day operations at Air Canada Centre as well as Ricoh Coliseum and BMO Field when required
  • Provide premium seat departments with announcement for Live Events
  • Build exceptional partnership relations with all clients
  • Responsible for event ticket settlements for finance and event production management
  • Fulfillment of ticket requirements and balance ticket sales records at the close of each business day
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional fan service both internal and external
  • Take pride in the organization and its people; maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • Perform other administrative or service functions as requested by management

Requirements

  • Previous experience and knowledge of ticket administration is required
  • Exceptional written, oral and electronic communication skills
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Proven time/priority management skills and reliable at adhering to time sensitive deadlines as required
  • Knowledge of the Ticketmaster Ticketing Host System a definite asset
  • Knowledge of the Ticketmaster Archtics System a definite asset
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
  • A demonstrated pride in accuracy and efficiency
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion
