We are looking for an immediate Logistics Co-ordinator to meet the current organizational needs of the department. This will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of logistical needs that are within the scope of our current client base. This individual will directly assist in the management of our logistic network, logistic systems and direct daily operations throughout the entire network.

The right candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker around operational processes and designs to obtain optimal results. Possessing great judgment, communication and collaborating among multiple departments will be essential to the continued progression of the business.


  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
  • Coordinate all freight flow, clearance and delivery of import and export goods.
  • Plan and manage transport of all incoming and outgoing goods – air, ocean, and trucking
  • Prepare and processes all required documents by carriers
  • Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
  • Support operations department personnel in roles and responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, TMS and customer service logs.
  • Track incoming ocean cargo and domestic shipments
  • Analyze transport costs and prepare quotes for invoicing
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.


  • Logistics experience in an office environment is recommended
  • Knowledge of logistic procedures and optimization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and projects
  • Proficient in MS Office software, including email, word processing and spreadsheets
  • Problem solving and decision making skills to address contentious issues, and ensure collaborative problem solving with resolution
  • A professional attitude and enthusiasm
  • Ability to adapt quickly, be flexible, and manage change effectively
  • Previous experience with trucking/brokerage an asset
