Support Officer – Banking Industry – Scarborough

JOB PURPOSE

Perform a range of simple to moderately complex tasks and functions to support the Business Account / Signing Authority team located at the Business Contact Centre. Follow detailed work procedures and adhere to stated service level agreements. Daily verbal and written communication with internal/external clients and business Partners such as Branches and INTRIA required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

*Working knowledge of the practices, procedures and compliance requirements relating to the subject/functional area

*Ability to interpret client’s request and to offer quick accurate response autonomously

*Excellent ability to multitask, prioritize and organize requests to ensure timely completion of assignments in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

*Working knowledge of Siebel, COINS, GOW, MIF and E-signer relative to the subject/functional areas would be an asset

*Proficient working knowledge of PC software (i.e., Word, Excel)

*Well-developed verbal communication skills sufficient to validate and convey factual and procedural information; and to promote services/policies/products to internal/external customers

*Self-planning skills sufficient to schedule, organize and complete assignments according to established work plans

*Independent judgments and analytical reasoning ability also required
