Career Opportunity and Primary Roles / Responsibilities

Our client is a global leader in the transportation industry, specifically in the manufacturing of planes and trains.

As part of a team that is oriented towards building evolving mobility worldwide, your role will be to:

• Perform as a technical authority in wiring 3D design.
• Perform as a technical authority in wiring diagram design.
• Review and approve WD documentation and datasets in part or in whole
• Provide technical support on change management implementation (RFC, PCR).
• Recommend and approve design changes
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, mentoring and training to staff.
• Identify and manage technical risks & opportunities
• Support Supervisor to disposition conflicting requests from different stakeholders.
• Communicate lessons learned to other community members

Required Competencies:

• You have a University degree in aircraft avionics or electrical engineering or equivalent work experience in wiring integration.
• You have a minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in aerospace.
• You have wiring design, wiring installation and/or wiring troubleshooting experience.
• You have experience with Mentor Graphics Logic tool.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and have good organization skills.
• You must have excellent communication skills including the ability to read/write in English.
• You are comfortable working with MS office suite.
• You are familiar with BM’s, RAE documents and BAPS related to harnesses (Bombardier Eng Practices).
• You master Catia 3D wiring design electrical workbench suite.
