An eligibility list may be created for similar regular and term full-time positions with Centralized Services and Resources and will remain in effect for twelve months.

Candidates who do not meet all essential criteria may be considered on an underfill basis at a commensurate rate of pay.

Qualifications:
Conditions of Employment:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

A satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check are conditions of employment.

Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle and ability to travel for government business purposes.

Essential Criteria:
Bachelor of Social Work degree or post-secondary degree in social sciences field.

Related case management experience in a social service setting that includes performing assessments, service planning, risk management, service coordination, monitoring and evaluation. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered at an underfill or commensurate classification and salary level.

Experience consulting or negotiating with multiple stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a complex work environment with high volume caseloads and competing demands.

Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with different audiences (e.g. agencies and non-profit organizations).

Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated effective written communication skills.

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).

Ability to manage a budget including review of proposals from agencies to determine appropriate funding based on client needs.

Knowledge of Community Living DisABILITY Services and the Vulnerable Persons Act.

Desired Criteria:
Knowledge of Service Purchase Agreements with Agencies.

Duties:
The Residential Services Coordinator in Centralized Services and Resources is responsible for the agency-related residential resources for Vulnerable Persons Living with a Mental Disability.

Responsibilities include: liaison with Community Service Workers in six Community Areas, residential agencies and colleagues in the Adult Services Disability Branch tracking residential and clinical funding through inFact internet application; tracking vacancies; referral management; reviewing individual’s facility and agency budgets; team planning and related duties.
