The Manager, Business Delivery will lead the execution of integration solutions supporting all Lines of Business at eHealth Ontario and play a key role with product owners and stakeholders within the Agency:

Specific Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of solutions to meet Internal/external stakeholder integration requirements
• Oversight of Project Managers to Develop integrated project plans, ensuring accurate and appropriate inclusion of deliverables, milestones, resources, inter-project dependencies, and progress reporting
• Provide strategic business planning, advisory and assessment services to link PCIS program with client requirements for IT solutions
• Manage a team of talented business system analysts / leads, project managers and advisors in the definition, delivery and deployment of integrated solutions to meet business objectives
• Direct accountability for the development of system integration requirements
• Develop and management of Business Services processes including the Intake process for new integration work
• Creation of Business Cases to support procurement required to achieve delivery objectives
• Participate in maintenance releases /projects
• Provide to the Director on the overall portfolio reporting for all projects / work packages / releases for which PCIS is accountable.Work together with the PCIS Program Manager, and the PCIS Development Manager with respect to the overall planning of the release schedule and the delivery of the releases ensuring alignment with ABP and MB20 objectives
• Engaging and ensuring effective use of matrix teams from various functional groups
• Proactively managing risks, and systematically resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely manner
• Conversant with industry leading Software Development Lifecycle methodologies

Your Skills Make the Difference


• University undergreaduate degree in Information Technology, Business or related discipline from a recognized institution


• 10+ years experience in IT, including previous roles in business services management or at the management level, ideally with government and the healthcare clients

Techincal Knowledge & Skills:

• Expertise in executing large scale enterprise integration projects,, Web Serviced based applications
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus concepts and architectural patterns
• Strong knowledge of IT services and healthcare services and offerings
• Strong knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, standards and proven experience in their adoption for the delivery of solutions
• Strong knowledge in project management methodologies
• A record of successful participation and leadership of teams
• Demonstrate success with current relationship management practices and theory
• Experience with complex IT procurement initiatives within the public, ideally health, sector
• Practical experience and knowledge of the OCCIO and eHealth Ontario project gate and architecture checkpoint policies
• Experience with development of artifacts within the Zachman Framework
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of IT Security and Privacy principals is a definite asset; Understanding of PHIPA and other privacy and security legislation to ensure project compliance
