We are currently looking for an IT Support Technician to support users and the IT department within the organization. Responsibilities: – Provide help to end users (answer incoming calls to assist users with MS office 2010/2013, email system issues, printing issues, Wi-Fi, etc. ) in both Windows and Mac environments – Setup new users’ computers: email, network folder, printer, installation of Microsoft office and Adobe – Format and install users’ computers – Troubleshoot users’ problems related to software, hardware or network issues – Proactively monitor network activity for service interruptions and security issues (anti-virus and anti-spam) – Configure Wi-Fi devices (IOS and Android) – Assist IT supervisor in special projects Qualifications: – College diploma (DEC or DEP) in computers or related technical diploma – Minimum 2 years of experience in IT role providing technical support – Possess a strong work ethic and professional attitude – Bilingual (French & English) and strong communication skills – Knowledge of networked systems including windows 2008 & 2012 R2, Windows XP, Vista, 7, windows 8 & OS X. – Knowledge in networking TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, FTP and SMTP – Knowledge of e-mail systems, user management, security – Strong knowledge in computer hardware – Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows and Mac – Ability to troubleshoot & repair individual workstations with minimum supervision – Ability to research information via the web for support purposes.

  • Ability to manage Backups and restore. – Ability to multitask and learn quickly You will be working in an office environment 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
