We are looking for a friendly and energetic full time MOA to join our team! We are a busy family practice/walk-in clinic in Yaletown. We are anticipating a new project in a couple of months and need a reliable person to support our administrative tasks.

Duties:

  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients
  • Providing quality customer service to patients
  • Registering patients on arrival
  • Answering office email and messages from doctors
  • Assisting in general medical administrative duties (answering phones, organizing patient referral, cleaning & tidying of clinic)
  • Reviewing and submitting MSP billing
  • Ensuring exam rooms are kept stocked and ordering supplies as necessary
  • Perform clinical duties such as obtaining patient specimens and preparing rooms for clinical procedures.

Qualifications:

  • MOA diploma or combination of the equivalent education and experience (We will provide training if you do not have an experience as a MOA!)
  • Solid proficiency in English
  • Some experience as a MOA would be an asset
  • Fast learner and independent worker
  • Able to handle pressure
  • Accurate and reliable
  • Great customer service skills and smile
  • Flexible with hours (Our shifts are sometime between 7 am and 6 pm during weekdays. Saturdays will be 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.)
  • Problem solving skills
