Magnum York Property Management Ltd is looking for a part-time Onsite Administrator to join our Calgary team. Magnum York is one of Alberta’s largest property management companies with clients all across Alberta.

The successful candidate will be required to be onsite during specific hours at various properties and will be unsupervised. They will provide basic concierge services related to the property’s needs. Direct communication with the residents, contractors, and staff will be conducted in a professional manner at all times either by email or in person. Depending on the requests received, the successful person will have to effectively make arrangements with Magnum’s main office, as well as other individuals involved, to complete the requests successfully.

This role is currently only two half-days onsite, with the hours being Tuesday 3pm to 7pm and Thursday 1pm to 5pm. These hours have absolutely no flexibility. Depending on the candidate’s willingness and success, this role has the possibility to transition to additional sites and increased hours.

Job Duties

  • Responding to emails from owners and residents
  • Helping owners and residents with general concerns and reporting all concerns to the Property Manager
  • Assisting with FOB and intercom changes
  • Help with general office tasks at the property
  • Take phone calls from owners and board members
  • Supporting the Property Manager
  • Coordinating room bookings
  • Filing completed paperwork

Required Skills

  • 3+ years as an office administrator
  • Highly organized
  • Strong computer skills with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle difficult clients and situations in person or over email
  • Ability to work independently
  • Property management experience is considered an asset but is not required
