We’re looking for an industrial/commercial business development rep to work for a fast growing manufacturing company in Winnipeg, MB. In this role you will solicit and promote equipment sales to existing customers and new prospects in assigned territory – LATIN AMERICA. Spanish and English proficiency is a must for this role.

Relocation to Winnipeg for this role is a preference, though not required.

Responsibilities:
Cold calling, prospecting, business development, account management and closing of sales

Follow the sales process of the company

Build and maintain trust and strong relationships with customers and prospects

Communicate with customers regularly regarding sales opportunities for equipment and parts sales

Work with engineering department and product information

Identify customer needs and use this knowledge to gain customer understanding

Manage sales initiatives and services to drive growth

Identify, develop and execute market sales strategies in your assigned territory

Assist with all customer orders and prospects

Must be able to follow through and ensure customer needs are met; do whatever it takes to service the customer

Results driven – Able to demonstrate high personal work standards and a sense of urgency

Do everything possible to meet goals and deadlines

Able to model a systematic approach to problem solving

Must be a relationship builder

Able to align own work objectives with the organization’s strategic plan

Take business priorities into consideration when making choices

Qualifications:
Fluency in English AND Spanish is a MUST

Proven experience selling to end users

Travel 25-30% based on customer needs

Major account sales background is preferred

3+ years of Business Development Experience – phone and in person

Proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships and sales

Business Degree or Certification is required

Engineering/Technical Certification is as asset

Experience in manufacturing/construction is valued but not necessary

Proficient in MS Office, with a strong understanding of Excel, Word

Ability to Travel to Mexico

Salary:
$50,000 + Commission

On target earnings: 100K-120K + Perks
