Magellan produces, repairs, overhauls (R&O), tests, and provides aftermarket support services for a variety of engines, and engine structural components.
Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga is currently seeking a well-rounded and experienced Quality Assurance Auditor. The position is full-time, permanent, and unionized. The purpose of the position is to To conduct internal audits against applicable standards (AS9100, ISO9001, ISO 14001, AS9110) and internal policies & procedures. Provide guidance related to regulatory requirements, improvement of existing and development of new quality procedures and documentation systems, liaise with external auditing bodies.
Other Essential Duties:

• Perform station, system and follow-up audits as directed by the Company.
• assistant at second and third party audits.
• Compile and revise, where necessary, audit checklists for review by the Quality Systems Manager or Analyst.
• Recommend and assist in drafting and revising Company procedures.
• Maintaining appropriate QA audit documentation as assigned.
• cross functional auditing for environmental department ISO 14001
• May be required to assist in the orientation or familiarization of Company personnel on Quality audit matters.

Background/Education:

• 2-year college degree (or equivalent)
• Professional license/ certification for ISO 9001, AS9100 & ISO 14001

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience and qualifications
