Job Summary Customer Service Representative & Logistics Coordinator Department: Counter Division: Tools & Equipment Branch: 34 Cutler Ave., Dartmouth, NS, B3B 0J6 Report To: Operations Manager, Head Trainer Position Type: Full Time Preferred Start Date: General Responsibilities A Customer Service Representative is responsible for being the first line of service in helping customers over the phone or at the store front. This individual must facilitate rental inquiries in person or over the phone and support in all customer service responsibilities pertaining to orders, and returns of equipment. Additionally, coordinating the sequence of delivery and pick up for equipment between both our internal and third-party moving companies. Working closely with the Sales team schedule gear for future orders. Specific Responsibilities § Open and close store § Welcome and aid walk-in and phone-in customers with all inquiries and requests § Complete invoices and quotes § Organize orders and contracts to submit to other employees § Keep up with reservations, send confirmation calls, and update reservation board § Organize contracts § Handle cash transactions § Help with moving smaller equipment § Fuel dip § Update the equipment board § Prioritize deliveries and Pick-ups for drivers Educational Requirements § High school diploma § 1-2 years in customer service § 1-2 years of experience in similar industry Key Competencies § Excellent customer service skills § Ability to communicate with staff and troubleshoot questions § Strong organizational skills § Strongly motivated and attentive during the day § General experience with Microsoft office About MacFarlands MacFarlands has been a trusted name throughout Atlantic Canada since 1963.
