If you are a professional, client focused, and passionate about helping others your skill set is needed by Lurana Shelter.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• answers crisis calls, business lines, directs calls
• answers intercom(s) for exterior doors and bedrooms
• monitors digital surveillance system to ensure safety on the exterior and interior
• ensures log book is kept up to date for individuals entering and leaving the shelter
• ensures supplies necessary for Client Development
• ensures stocked medication is up to date
• can assist in preparing binders for new clients
• will ensure the crisis office remains clean and well organized
• will maintain a gossip free workplace
• all other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Diploma or related work experience in domestic violence shelter. The equivalent combination of education and experience is an asset. Demonstrate effectiveness in human relations with good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to be self-motivated and works well with minimal supervision.

A clear criminal record check and clear vulnerable persons check is required.
