Full Time 3 Months Contract Position

Are you looking for an opportunity that will leverage your skills, allow you to own a program from concept through execution and give you that rewarding experience knowing the work you are doing is making a difference?

Lumacare is hiring a full-time Marketing & Fund Development Coordinator to execute on this year’s marketing and fund development strategy. You will be working with a team to launch a brand new fundraising program for the agency and bring it to market, while growing Lumacare’s brand identity in the community.

Your role would involve:

  • Coordinating the planning, execution and evaluation of all fundraising and special events at Lumacare (will require some weekend and evening time).
  • Attracting, engaging, and stewarding corporate and private donors in the execution of Lumacare’s fundraising strategy.
  • Creating quality content, and leading meaningful engagement through all existing social media assets, blog and web updates. Tracking and analyzing web and social media channel performance.
  • Generating and disseminating marketing materials and internal and external communications ensuring that written and visual content of all marketing material and communication is consistent, captivating, and reflects the Lumacare’s brand.
  • Tracking budgets and expenditures for marketing supplies and company-branded merchandise.
  • Participating in internal/external committees as required.
  • Other duties as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in marketing, communications event management or graphic design or related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategies, best practices, and analysis.
  • Content management system (CMS) experience (WordPress preferred), experience with marketing automation (Mailchimp preferred).
  • Microsoft office suite and Adobe graphic design experience (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with experience in writing and producing marketing materials. Excellent creative writing skills.
  • Strong project management, time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Creative self-starter, forward-thinker who demonstrates a sense of urgency.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of team.
  • Passionate about continuous learning.
  • A Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
