Long View is seeking an experienced Senior Networking Consultant for our Calgary office who thrives in project delivery! You will bring expertise in managing requirements through strong business and technical skills. If you have experience designing, deploying, managing and troubleshooting networks, this could be the opportunity for you! This is a contract position.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of Cisco network experience including the following:
Cisco Catalyst Switches

Cisco ISR Routers

Cisco Firewall and VPN technologies

Cisco Nexus Data Centre Switches

1-2 years’ operational experience and 3-5 years’ project experience including leading client implementations

Thorough understanding and experience with the following fundamental technologies:

IGP and EGP routing protocols, ie: OSPF, BGP

Route filtering and policy-based routing

LAN-to-LAN/Site-to-Site and remote access VPN technologies

DMVPN knowledge would be valuable

Network layer Quality of Service (QoS)

Experience working with Internet/WAN service providers, integrating with WAN technologies such as MPLS L3VPN, VPLS, EVPL

Industry best practice LAN design and deployment methodology and a structured approach to troubleshooting

Ability to deliver concise, accurate technical documentation and diagrams

Exposure and understanding of network automation techniques and technologies

Knowledge of software development pipelines would be considered an asset
