Overview:

As an industry leading national jewellery supplier, Leviev Ltd. has built partnerships with Walmart Canada, Charm Diamond Centres and over 300 jewellery boutiques across Canada in the past 31 years. We are currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator to manage our main social media accounts and support the development, implementation and monitoring of social media campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Working in our new creative office, the Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating compelling posts and engaging brand stories for multiple social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and online marketplaces such as Etsy and eBay. The Coordinator will also monitor, publish and review analytics to help build our three main brands (Golden Reflections, Arya Collection and Medical Jewellery). Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and organizational skills are imperative to this role. Additional responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the creation of social media content, business proposal and catalogues
• Developing one major social media campaign
• Identifying, monitoring and activating online influencers and enthusiasts
• Managing social media publishing calendar

Requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge of key social media tools and technologies (e.g. Facebook and Instagram)
• Attention to detail and organization
• Capacity to multi-task while prioritizing projects and managing deadlines
• Creative and professional writing, editing and verbal communication skills
• Use the Internet and other sources to gather aggregate data, analyze and input data findings and summarize information
• Available 2-3 days/week (Optional: 10 hours on location and 10 hours at home residence)
• Must be eligible to work as an intern in Canada

Desired Qualifications:

• Photo editing skills with Photoshop/InDesign
• Working knowledge of social media management software
• Understanding of social media advertising and retarget marketing
• Knowledge of Google analytics

Please Note: Though this is an unpaid internship, an honorarium will be paid to the intern if the candidate accomplishes all assigned tasks and achieves the targets by the end of the period.
