Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position ensures the day-to-day production process is optimized and runs efficiently with both internal and subcontracted production activities.

Responsibilities:
Plans and schedules plant production based on maximizing productivity and best utilization of manpower, resources and equipment.
Production reporting and tracking.
Monitors plant operations to ensure all equipment is working efficiently.
Coordinates plant and mobile repairs and maintenance with vendors and maintenance supervisor.
Manages inventory stockpiles and balances production with anticipated demand for product.
Ensures quality control of material in conjunction with quality control supervisor.
Promote safe work habits and provide safe working conditions, ensure job tasks are completed as per job procedure, and demonstrate leadership towards all company safety policies. Skills and Qualifications
High School diploma
Proven leadership and supervisory experience
Minimum 5 years in aggregate mining/production
Mechanical experience with aggregate processing equipment
Knowledge of Quality Control, Safety Regulations and Mining Codes
Computer Proficiency
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
