You are a polished and experienced individual with customer service experience and an interest in the aviation field. In the role of Flight Attendant, you will gain experience with an up and coming airline in the Edmonton market, flying with Summit Air throughout Northern Canada.

Responsibilities
Strictly enforces emergency and safety procedures consistent with all Transport Canada regulations and company policies/procedures
Coordinates on-board activity with In-charge Flight Attendant, when applicable
Provides leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies
Reports any and all activities which could adversely affect passenger safety to appropriate flight personnel
Works in aircraft aisles and galleys, standing, reaching, walking, kneeling, and stooping, and sitting during takeoff and landing
Operates mechanical and safety equipment including stairs, oxygen systems, aircraft doors (pushing and pulling), fire extinguishers, galley equipment, communications equipment, and lighting systems
Delivers exceptional customer service while performing pre-flight and in-flight duties, including serving beverages/snacks
Requirements
Minimum two years’ previous customer service experience required; related experience in aviation would be a significant asset
Grade 12 or equivalent; related post-secondary education would be an asset
Previous flight attendant experience an asset, but not required
Above average interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work rotating shift work, weekends, holidays, and to travel on a consistent basis
Ability to perform physical duties as outlined, such as pushing and pulling aircraft doors
Must successfully meet pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
Work Conditions
This position will involve frequent travel, irregular hours, and the need for schedule flexibility
