Photo Retoucher
Is responsible for the retouching of clothing and product images in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. Key skills include: highly efficient in Photoshop, able to output a large volume of images daily while maintaining a consistent quality of image.
Photo Retouching
- Retouches fashion and product images using Photoshop.
- Maintains a high image quality and volume based on targets in accordance with company style guidelines.
- Ensures that proper naming convention is used to file images correctly.
- Helps ensure a maximum quality control of images captured.
- Assists in special request for rush purposes.
- Assists in improving production efficiencies and workflow.
- Understands the workflow of the studio and follows studio operating procedures.
- Maintains a strong, professional relationship with clients both internal and external.
- Assists in capturing images in times of high volume, or when requested.
Requirements
- College diploma or degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial photographic studio or lab
- Proven high level of proficiency in Photoshop in a professional environment
- Fluent in Adobe suite CC, Capture One
- Proven experience using color and esthetic correction on images
- Proven experience in retouching beauty and product imagery
- Proven organizational skills, possessing a high level of attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the proven ability to work under pressure with tight and changing deadlines
- Proven interpersonal, oral and written communication, telephone etiquette and active listening skills
- Bilingualism (French/English)
