Later is looking for an analytical and strategic paid acquisition specialist to join our team. If you have strong analytical skills, a love of all things social, and an obsession for optimization, this is the job for you! Later, formerly Latergramme, is the simpler way to plan and manage your visual content marketing for Instagram.

The Later marketing team is growing quickly and we need someone to focus on ramping up our paid acquisition strategy. You will be the first full time person on the paid team joining a growing marketing team of 8 that is heavily focused on content marketing. You’ll have a library of marketing assets to promote, a creative designer and content writer on hand to help with campaigns so you can focus on getting that compelling creative in front of the perfect audience.

In addition to managing the paid acquisition strategy you’ll also work with the content team and help optimize our email marketing, landing pages and other steps in the path to purchase.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns across the buyer’s journey
  • Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.
  • Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower our cost-per-acquisition.
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs.
  • Craft landing pages and lead generation forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying.
  • Ensure the Later brand stays consistent across all paid campaigns

Skills & Requirements:

  • Great if you’ve worked at a SaaS company in the past
  • 3+ years experience in digital marketing with a focus on paid acquisition
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including social network advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and more), paid search (Google AdWords), and retargeting.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to sell and convince.
  • You are a creative thinker who is comfortable working both independently and in a team environment. You embrace feedback, and have a constant desire to learn and improve.
  • Bonus: You have worked and leveraged successful content marketing assets to great success
  • Bonus: You have a strong and strategic understanding of the visual social media landscape, specifically around Instagram, Pinterest, and/or Snapchat strategy
