Administrative Assistant – Part time – 25-30 hrs – Lethbridge, AB

Overview :

Working out of our Lethbridge Office, the Administrative Assistant is an integral part of the Engineering Team at Laporte. The Administrative Assistant will be in charge of coordinating and supporting all administrative tasks for the Lethbridge and Edmonton offices.

Responsabilities :

  • Support preparation, formatting and revision of technical documents including proposals, presentations and spreadsheets (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Coordinate staff meetings;
  • Coordinate travel arrangements;
  • Perform office administration tasks, including but not limited to: switchboard and front desk; ordering and tracking office supplies, file and record management, sort and distribute mail;
  • Maintain library of engineering and technical standards;
  • Make weekly bank deposits;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • High school or college diploma in a relevant field;
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in administrative work;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project;
  • Valid (clear) AB driver’s license.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (Oral and written);
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills;
  • Reliable and a great team player.
