Junior Customer Service Representative – 4 Month Contract
About the Opportunity
Responsible for servicing and underwriting customer calls in accordance with business objectives established for the Call Center
Customer services representatives are the first point of contact for customers looking for new quotes, re-quotes or looking to proceed with their insurance policies
Effectively communicate by telephone to resolve issues, describe programs & services to customers and when appropriate, cross/upsell other products
Interpret what customers say and respond appropriately
Obtain relevant information systematically to process inquiries quickly and accurately
Conduct file reviews for underwriting quality and risk exposure for each call
Solidify customer relationships through service recovery and follow through on commitments
Obtain/solicit leads and cross-sell other lines of business to assist with customer loyalty and business retention
About You
3-6 months experience in similar capacity
Attendance and punctuality is imperative
Excellent Customer Service skills and telephone etiquette
Proficiency in word processing, excel and internet
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Pay Range
$16 – $17/hr
