Job Summary

Langley Association for Community Living is seeking applications for a number of positions (Full -time, Part-time, Casual) supporting individuals in our community inclusion and residential services. The focus of our services is to provide supports including in-home and community based supports for residential services and employment supports and community based activities for community inclusion services in accordance with the philosophy of the organization. We are looking for flexible and positive employees who will facilitate individuals to experience overall growth with a focus on health, recreation, volunteer and employment opportunities. Must be willing and able to assist the individuals in their employment or leisure pursuits. LACL provides a variety of services to individuals who live with developmental disabilities. We ensure individuals who we provide services to have fulfilling lives, are connected to the community, enjoy and experience social inclusion, and have the opportunity to seek and obtain integrated/meaningful employment. Our ultimate goal is to ensure the people we provide services to experience the best quality of life as possible.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Applicants will be required to obtain a standard first aid certificate, doctor’s certificate of good health and clear criminal record check prior to employment. A valid class 5 driver’s license required for the interview. The ability to obtain a restricted class 4 driver’s license within 120 days after hire date is expected. Use of personal vehicle is required.

A high school diplomand and a min. of one year in the human service field.
