Junior Network Technician

Knowledge Computers is currently seeking a junior network technician to join our team. If you have experience with various networking platforms and/or servers this position might be for you. This is an entry level position to help our technical team with bulk testing of servers, routers, firewalls etc. This requires a person with previous technical or networking experience, a keen troubleshooter, drive and a can-do mindset that works well in a team environment.

Purpose:

Knowledge Computers is looking for an individual with two years of minimum experience working with servers or networking equipment. Must have a strong understanding of various networking topology. The successful individual will join our technical team to assist in auditing & testing of numerous different enterprise networking platforms.

Requirements:

• Experience with Networking equipment
• Strong funadmental knowledge of different networking topology
• Attention to details
• Work with team members on new updates, changes and various duties
• Able to follow procedures when auditing equipment
• Troubleshoot, Diagnose and resolve technical issues when possible

Skills and Specifications:

• A+ Certification an asset
• Previous experience with servers & networking equipment required
• Clean Criminal record check required
• Working with other departments to achieve efficiency

Education and Training:

• Computer/Networking equipment technical knowledge an asset
• Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point, Access, Internet
