Role Overview:

Knowledge Bureau needs a motivated professional to assist with the look and feel of intellectual properties of Knowledge Bureau, assisting with the co-ordination of promotional materials for live, multi-media and self-study programs, including all communications to prospective, existing and graduated students and users. A team player capable of also working independently, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, creative environment.

Essential Functions:

- Communication and content:

  • Preparation of news releases
  • Preparation of targeted email campaigns using MailChimp
  • Assisting in preparation Knowledge Bureau Report
  • Preparation marketing collateral
  • Storing digital files in determined places using consistent file naming convention
  • Assisting with PowerPoint presentations preparation
  • Proofread, test and perfect all published materials

- Sales kits preparation:

  • Preparation, modification and delivering marketing pieces using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign software.
  • Preparation and distribution hard copies of sales kits among sales team members

- Social Media Management:

  • Practical knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Preparation and providing content for social media channels
  • Daily monitoring visitors engagement and follower lists
  • Communication with a video producer, submitting videos for approval and uploading to Knowledge Bureau portal
  • Preparation of marketing pieces for needs of social media channels and campaigns

- Website management:

  • Update of the content on the ongoing basis
  • Preparation of marketing pieces for particular web pages
  • Regular audits of the website and virtual campus

- Reporting

  • Google Analytics reporting
  • Social media channels reporting
  • MailChimp reports including subscribers and unsubscribes
  • Reporting all discrepancies found on the website, virtual campus or social media channels and taking actions leading to their correction and preventing from future occurrence.

- Research

  • Research and analysis of customer data to maximize efficiency of marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Following and adjusting Marketing and Communication Guide and Strategies if necessary
  • Research and analysis of customers and prospect list to choose the most accurate and most efficient marketing strategies to achieve conversion

Education, Experience and Skill Sets Required:

- Related education or combination of education and experience to perform assigned duties and tasks
- Excellent communications skills; spelling and vocabulary
- Software knowledge (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign)
- Experience in marketing of educational products in the tax and financial services marketplace is an asset
- Demonstrates strong organizational, project management and administrative skills
- Experience in lists management, dealing with printers; and message delivery
- Online marketing experience including social media channels
- Online marketing reporting experience – Google Analytics
- Google AdWords experience is an asset
- Keywords research experience an asset
- Experience budgeting, planning, project management in publishing industry is an asset
- Experience in the tax and financial services is an asset
- Ability to take the initiative and meet project deadlines
