Working from our site at CFB Esquimalt, experienced individuals would be involved with our current Fleet Maintenance Facility project which is valued at $200 Million Dollars. Reporting to the Project Manager the successful individual would work as part of a team on various Project Work Packages.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience as a Project Coordinator as well as working onsite
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Building Technology or equivalent is preferred
  • Mechanical/Electrical background/understanding
  • Thorough knowledge of construction contracts and typical scopes of work
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to build strong relationships with Owners, Consultants and Trade Contractors.
  • Strong understanding of building code and trade standards
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Edgebuilder, Planswift, Primavera and MS Office Applications
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Must be able to get Security Clearance through PWGSC.

Reports to: Site Project Manager

Summary: Provide administrative, clerical, and client/sub trade liaison support to the Project Management and Estimating teams as required. Scope includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Assist the Project Management and Estimating teams
  • Communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Supervise and Coordinate the Shop Drawing Process
  • Prepare site documentation
  • Perform routine visits to site and attend site meetings
  • Work with Project Managers & Superintendents to ensure that deliveries are expedited and coordinated
  • Coordinate work of sub-trades
  • Prepare quotes for changes to the contract including distributing proposed changes, gathering sub trade pricing, reviewing, negotiating, and submitting pricing to client.
  • Provide detailed documentation updates
  • Coordinate and ensure submittal of project closeout documentation
